What is Weight Training?:

 

The Body Blueprint Weight Training Course will enable you to work in a weight room and write weight programs for your clients. This BCRPA-approved Weight Training course is comprehensive, educational and fun to do. And we are here to help you every step of the way.

The course includes the following topics: review of Anatomy, Muscles and Function, Introduction to Strength Training, Program Planning, Nutrition, Warm Up and Cardio, Weight Room Exercises, Flexibility, Exercise Risks, and more.

How to get Certified:

 

 

Once you have completed the course and have your Weight Training certificate from Body Blueprint, if you wish to gain BCRPA certification, you are required to then complete your Instructor Competency Evaluation (ICE). We can walk you through this and evaluate it for you over video or in-person.  

BCRPA will take about 4 to 6 weeks to approve your ICE, in which time you can practice writing Weight Training programs for friends/family/clients. 

Then you can move onto the Personal Training Course.
