This workshop will introduce the menstrual cycle as a powerful framework for understanding how the female body responds to exercise, energy demands, and recovery.
In this workshop, we will discuss the four main phases of the menstrual cycle - menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal - and how natural hormonal fluctuations can influence strength, endurance, motivation, coordination, and mood. The goal is to normalize these changes and replace confusion or frustration with knowledge, self-trust, and body awareness.
The workshop outlines practical strategies for aligning training, movement, and recovery with each phase of the cycle. Students will explore how to modify intensity, volume, and exercise type to support performance, reduce injury risk, and improve consistency, whether they are athletes, fitness enthusiasts, or instructors.
Emphasis will be placed on flexibility rather than rigid rules, empowering women to listen to their bodies, work with their physiology, and use their cycle as a tool for long-term health, confidence, and sustainable fitness.
