Spinal Anatomy, Ailments, Injuries and Exercises
This is the second in a series of workshops on major muscles and joints. If you enjoyed the SHOULDER workshop, you’ll love this one. We take an in-depth look at the spine including the various bones, joints, nerves, soft tissue, and muscles. Most of us know someone with back pain. There is so much that can go wrong with the spine. Here we’ll discuss many problems that arise with the spine and how to prevent some of them. We cover lots of common yet unsafe exercises you do in the gym every day. You’ll learn about some simple and effective assessments you can do with your clients to see where their spinal issues are. There are lots of safe and effective core exercises and great stretches to keep the spine functioning properly.
