This New movement Program is designed and taught by Isabel Arias Santos. Isabel is from Cuba and she has years of experience as an athlete, Dance and fitness instructor. 

What does SomQi mean? 'Soma' comes from Clinical Somatic and 'Y' from Somatic Yoga; 'Qi' comes from QiGong. Yoga means union, and Isabel unites these beautiful exercises that have the same principle: to move our body in a healthy way. Its magic movements give us the choice to keep our body free of pain. Indeed, Somatic is a ground-breaking way to release chronic muscle contraction that is the source of our pains and aches. Such movements re-educate the brain so that it can relax and move your muscles more functionally. These two movements; Somatic and Qigong complement each other and you can feel the best of yourself. You will improve your range of motion, flexibility, and posture. The magic of Somatic is based on the slowness of the movements. It is a body-mind integration that will help you relax and develop an increasingly positive attitude!!! 

This is Level 1. There is an optional Level 2.
