With the Group Fitness Online Course, you can learn how to become a Group Fitness instructor by online, self-paced education. You may choose to receive the materials entirely online (non-printable), or choose the option to receive a hard copy of the manual shipped to your door!

With the online course, you will be required to film videos of yourself practicing what is requested in each chapter assignment and send to Body Blueprint for review and feedback. It is a fun and effective way to learn this practical course from the comfort of your own home, while learning from experienced Group Fitness Instructors.

What you will learn:

The Body Blueprint Group Fitness Instructor course teaches you all the elements of being a motivating, thorough and safe fitness instructor. If you want to teach any type of group exercise classes, this course will teach you how. With the online Group Fitness course, you will be required to send in short videos so we can provide feedback and help you become a great instructor! 

Please note that if you wish to be BCRPA-certified as a Group Fitness Instructor, you must first register with BCRPA as a Fitness Leader (complete the Fitness Theory course, BCRPA exam, First Aid and CPR, and BCRPA registration). Following the Group Fitness Instructor course, you will need to complete your 8-hour practicum and your practical exam (ICE), which can be done over video or in person.

 

Prerequisites

If you wish to become Certified by BCRPA or equivalent:

  • Completed Fitness Theory
  • Written and passed the Provincial exam
  • Hold a current First Aid & CPR
  • Obtain the Fitness Theory designation through BCRPA
Deadline

You will have 4 months from your date of purchase to complete this course.

The digital courses are non-printable. If you'd like a printed copy, please order one (and you will also receive the digital copy right away).
