The Older Adult Fitness Module is an in-depth and informative course designed to prepare the fitness leader who has already taken a specialty module (Group Fitness, Weight Training, Aqua Fitness, Yoga, Pilates, etc.) to instruct seniors through a safe and effective fitness program. As we age, we go through many changes, both physiological and psychological. You will learn how aging affects the heart, lungs, muscles and other soft tissue and how this affects a person’s flexibility, strength and metabolism. Help the seniors you train to get the best from your training sessions!

After completing and passing this course with the quiz that will be sent to you, you will then complete the online exam and have an Instructor Competency Evaluation done – we can also help you with both of these.

You will be able to complete the course with the online materials.
