Pre-requisites; completed the Fitness Theory, written and passed the Provincial exam, hold a current first aid & CPR.

We offer on-line or in-class Group Fitness.
If you can't attend the in-class group fitness courses, Body Blueprint will teach you how to become a group fitness leader by distance education. We make it easy for you to become a great fitness leader.

You will learn: Adult learning, What makes a great fitness instructor, Lesson planning, How to put a class together, use of music, choreography for in-door classes, cueing, boot-camp/outdoor fitness classes, safe & effective strength exercises, using a variety of equipment, and much more.

The Body Blueprint Group Fitness Instructor course teaches you all the elements of being a fitness instructor. If you want to teach any type of group exercise classes this course will teach you how.

Join thousands of other fitness professionals who have taken the Body Blueprint courses.

You will be required to send in short videos. You should have access to a recording device; such as a video camera or a digital camera with video ability. You will either make a CD or upload the video. We make it easy for you to be successful.

NEW & UPDATED - With over 40 exercises and dozens of full colour PHOTOS, you will learn tons of new exercises, many using more than one tube (multi joint/COMBO exercises)! We have many types of exercise equipment available to use but the tube is inexpensive, portable and can work just about every muscle in the body. This workshop is a must for group fitness instructors, Personal Trainers or fitness participants!

BCRPA Forms: After each specialty module you will need to fill in the BCRPA ICE form for that module. The forms will need to be handed in and marked by a trainer (Body Blueprint Fitness can do that for you). Once it is marked you will need to meet with your evaluator for a practical session in the gym. You can download the ICE forms for group fitness, weight training and personal training from the BCRPA web site.
